Join Michelle to discuss her new children’s picture book, My Mom Has Two Jobs, which celebrates working moms. Michelle will share her journey from being a SMPC mom to becoming a published children’s book author—while working full-time as a law professor and raising two daughters.

Michelle was inspired to write her book after many frustrating searches for children’s picture books that showcase working moms. In My Mom Has Two Jobs, children proudly describe how their moms care for them in a very special way, while also making the world better through their careers. The book highlights moms in a wide range of professions, which gives parents a much-needed platform to talk with their kids about their work and to help kids see how parents bring the same love, passion, and dedication to both their parenting jobs and their professional jobs.

The event will include a discussion of Michelle’s path to becoming a children’s book author, a short reading of a book excerpt, Q&A, and the opportunity to get your own signed copy of the book. The event is free and refreshments will be served.
